ENTERPRISE CONTROL
Agents need deterministic boundaries around probabilistic decisions.
Models can interpret and recommend. Enterprise authority should remain in identity, policy, scoped credentials, workflow gates and attributable human decisions.
Resolve authority before tools
An agent should know the tenant, person, role and task before it receives data or credentials. Tool access should be scoped to the minimum action required for the current workflow.
Pause consequential actions
Payments, external publication, record deletion, sensitive communication and policy exceptions should enter explicit approval states. The approver needs the evidence, proposed action and expected effect.
Improve through fixed evidence
Capture failures and outcomes, reproduce them in stable evaluations, then change the narrowest layer that solves the problem. Promote through review and canary controls, with a rollback path.
