DELIVERY MODEL
What forward-deployed engineering should leave behind.
Forward-deployed engineering is useful when a workflow crosses proprietary systems, policy boundaries and operating teams. Its output should be a maintainable product capability with clear ownership.
Begin with a production contract
Define the trigger, result, service level, systems, data contract, policy gates, evidence and named owners before building the agent experience.
Work inside the real constraints
Connect representative systems, model failure paths and test identity, permissions, latency and operator handoff. A demo becomes valuable when it exposes the production boundary rather than hiding it.
Design the handoff from day one
Deliver documented connectors, evaluations, dashboards, runbooks, release gates and trained owners. The deployed team should accelerate adoption while reducing long-term dependency.
